VIC, QLD, WA welcome back to Term 2
✈️ we’ve been down to VIC and 🖥️ Zoom’ed in to QLD to work with students whilst everyone else has been on holidays!
📚POI (Point of Interest)
Inflation is slowing but is still too high (3.60%) versus the RBA target of 2.50%
This probably means interest rates will stay on hold for longer (currently 4.35%) which is great news for your savings account - not so good if you have a home loan!
The RBA meets to discuss interest rates and the economy next on Tuesday May 7th

For this week, Money Task #7:
🔗Linking the ATO to MyGov
For everyone playing along at home 🏠, you should now have your TFN (from Money Task #4) and your MyGov account (from Money Task #5)
There is one final job to do! You will need to link your MyGov and the ATO together using your TFN
Steps to-do this:
1. Have your MyGov login details and TFN details handy
2. Login to your MyGov account
3. On the home page of your MyGov, there is a button which says ‘View and link service’
4. Click this button, follow the steps and you should be able to link your ATO portal to your MyGov (see the picture below 💥)
5. Done ✅
